GET INFORMED: ISSUE #86 INFORMATION MEETING THIS WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 18TH
Calling ALL Bulldog parents!! Please join Superintendent Dr. Jim Lloyd THIS WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18TH AT 7 P.M. in the OFHS Media Center to learn more about the 1.8 Mill Bond Issue to increase safety at Olmsted Falls High School. Whether you have a student currently at the ECC, at Falls-Lenox, at OFIS, at OFMS, at OFHS, or a little one not yet school age, our current high school building will be the high school they will attend. There are no plans in the near or distant future to construct a new high school facility in our district.
However, there is an important 1.8 Mill Bond Issue on the November 5th ballot to improve safety at Olmsted Falls High School through renovation, expansion and technology/security upgrades – starting with the elimination of the modular classrooms (trailers), which currently house 8 classrooms, located at the edge of the parking lot OUTSIDE the main high school building. PLEASE COME LEARN MORE ABOUT THE SCOPE OF THIS BOND ISSUE ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT! We hope to see you there.

American flags flew at half-staff throughout the district.
FALLS-LENOX SPIRIT DAY PROMOTES HEALTHY EATING
Last Friday was Spirit Day at Falls-Lenox! In an effort to win an NFL Play 60 grant and promote physical fitness and healthy eating, Falls-Lenox is learning about nutrition and exercise. Each class made posters about a fruit or vegetable, which will remain on display in the cafeteria for the rest of the school year. Throwing competitions were held in P.E. classes and Bulldog football players joined us on Friday for the final competition. Classes also decorated doors as Browns’ players’ lockers and we had balloon arches in the main entry! It was a great day of fun and good health thanks to the efforts of P.E. teacher Greg Hoover, parent Jodi DiMarco, many volunteers, and the students and staff at Falls-Lenox.
