 100th BLOG POST!

Today’s update marks the 100th post to the Olmsted Falls School District blog!  We hope you continue to find these weekly updates enjoyable, informative and useful.  It is our pleasure to use this communication tool to showcase the many outstanding things happening throughout our District and to keep you updated on the latest news.

Please remember that our Comments feature is a great way to show your Bulldog pride when you see something you like, as well as a great way to get questions answered.  All District administrators are set up to respond to comments.

Many thanks to all who help us keep up with the many activities and events taking place in and around our District!

RECOUNTS COMPLETE – P.I. LEVY PASSES BY 7 VOTES!

For those who may not have already heard the news, the recount for the District’s P.I. Levy in Lorain County was completed last Thursday (12/8/11) and there was NO CHANGE to the official vote counts.  With the recounts in both Cuyahoga and Lorain counties now complete, and no changes found in either count, the District can now report the official passage of our 5-Year P.I. Levy by the margin of 7 votes!   (Final Combined Vote Count:  4,073 YES votes / 4,066 NO votes)

A special thank you sign from students and staff at the District’s Early Childhood Center (ECC) was hung over the building entrance last Friday to express appreciation to the community. Other District buildings also featured messages of thanks on their sign boards.

Sincere thanks and appreciation to our parents, staff and community for your continuing support of the Olmsted Falls School District.  This has been a true demonstration of democracy in action and a true example of how every vote counts!  THANK YOU AGAIN!
