Anyone in attendance at last night’s concert presented by the Falls-Lenox 3rd graders in the OFHS Auditorium knows it was an outstanding performance!  It is no surprise with all of the hard work that was put into the show.  Last Friday, the 3rd graders even presented a special dress rehearsal performance in the cafeteria for the 1st and 2nd graders.  To see photos from this fun rehearsal, please click here.

5th GRADERS UTILIZE MOBILE LAPTOP CARTS FOR SOCIAL STUDIES PROJECT

All 5th Grade classes are currently completing a Social Studies project with the help of mobile laptop carts. The project, which focuses on a specific U.S. region, covers each standard and learning target the 5th Grade Social Studies teachers taught during the first twelve weeks of school (latitude and longitude, reading and creating maps, creating and reading circle graphs, explaining regional interdependence, renewable and non-renewable natural resources, etc.).  This is a great example of how our technology is being put to great use!  For more photos of our 5th graders in their laptop work groups, please click here.
